Allaire State Park:

We headed south, and walked through some pretty ritzy neighborhoods, small towns and Asbury Park, before reaching the Bike Trail in Manasquan. We found that many of our signs had been confiscated, so finding our way was difficult. To top it all off, we walked into a heavy downpour, so that by the time we reached Allaire State Park, we were soaked. It was refreshing to walk in the rain, and we found many blackberries to eat along the way. We were extended the hospitality of a local church, who also gave us bibles. We were able to sleep comfortably out of the rain.
