Thanks to our very, very, very tolerant hosts.

A chance to kick back.

Jonie and Jaime relax.

Mr. Frank and Mr. Anthony discuss logistics.
We decided to take a "mental health day" and forego the walk through New Brunswick. Our vehicles needed servicing, and the kids were a little the worse for wear, so we clipped ten miles off the day, making it the only non-contiguous day of the walkabout, but Ms. Nancy's decision to scrap the long walk was sound. Showered and rested, we were able to complete 10.9 miles and were treated by Rita's in Old Bridge as well as the wonderful bagel place. (include name) that, upon entering smelled so delicious, my stomach wept for joy.
The Chaifetz family and Old Bridge extended a hand of hospitality, tolerance and welcome above and beyond anything on the walk. Upon completing our trip, Old Bridge was the unanimous choice for Friendliest Town, 2009.
miles= 11.2 (including a detour to go over the Parkway on a footbridge) overall miles= 171.9 (we called it 172)
Also, joining us on the walk was Mr. Vipin and his 8-year old son Savon. His brother, Arjuna had been walking since day one. Savon is a fierce walker, and decided to do the walk barefoot.
