Our strategy is fourfold:

1.We earn money by charging tuition ( for each program) for those who
can afford it, and by charging fees for special programs, like Market Days
(covered in various parts of the website) and the Leaf Fest (On the
planning board for next November. These have not been figured into our
fundraising activities as yet, since we work on a June to June fiscal
                      calendar.

                      2. We raise money by securing grants. We have secured a minimum of 3,100
guaranteed from the South Toms River Municipal Alliance, and we are seeking
out additional sources, including grant money from other Municipal
                      Alliances.

                      3. We raise money from individuals dedicated to our mission. We have
secured one unsolicited pledge of  for the upcoming year, and we plan
to write a series of articles which will appear in several Primitive
Survival magazines and mailing groups. At the end of each article, we will
                      include a request for donations.

                      4. We propose to raise money by having garage sale items donated to us which
we will then auction off on e-bay. If this is a successful means of
acquiring revenue, we intend to hold internet charity auctions through
e-bay, where we will explain the exact nature of our organization and the
benefits that purchasing an item through us can bring. This proposal is
still in the early stages, and will be addressed at the December meeting.
In the meantime, I am going to experiment with the sale of a small item to
see if the idea is viable.
